French military personnel have boarded an oil tanker thought to be a component of Russia's covert armada, employed to circumvent sanctions enacted due to the conflict in the region.

The Boracay left Russia in recent weeks and was near the shoreline of the Scandinavian nation when unknown unmanned aircraft caused the temporary closure of multiple airfields recently. It has been anchored near the western part of France for a short period.

Head of State the French leader said the crew had carried out serious offences at an EU officials' summit in Copenhagen on Wednesday but did not elaborate.

It had departed the Russia's port of the location near Saint Petersburg on late September and traveled through the Baltic Sea and past Denmark before reaching the northern Atlantic and carrying on through the English Channel.
