JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution isn't exactly an original movie. Rather, the latest movie from the Jujutsu Kaisen supernatural series acts as a recap of the series' second installment merged with the opening installments of its next season, which kicks off the Culling Games arc from the source material. This positions Execution, which recently received a new trailer, the quickest way to watch the beginning of the next season ahead of its January 2026 premiere. The feature launches in Japan on Nov. 7, and in North American regions on December 5.

The Culling Games Arc

In the Culling Game arc, Special Grade sorcerer Yuta Okkotsu is introduced in the show and is charged by jujutsu officials to take down his classmate Yuji Itadori. Their highly anticipated battle unfolds for the initial time on the cinema screen, and if the artists at Mappa have a treat as episodes 40 and 41 prepared for fans this holiday season, JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution may end up being the present that fans have anticipated.

The Thunderclap Debate

"Thunderclap" from season 2 is often hailed as one of the greatest sequences in animated series lore, in spite of the major issues in 2023 when the installments originally aired. If the production company wants to start the year off right, revisit the anime's greatest sequence once again in movie houses with the finest version we've experienced so far.
